Sons of the Father: A Men's Lenten Retreat

Program includes: Lunch, Guest Speaker Jim Tortorici, Adoration, and optional Confession. We will also gather for 4:30 Mass at the conclusion of the day.

This Lenten season, join us for a transformative retreat that invites men to rediscover their true identity and inheritance through the timeless parable of the Prodigal Son. Whether you identify with the wayward younger son, the dutiful older brother, or find yourself somewhere in between, this retreat offers a profound opportunity to encounter the Father's heart anew.

Through prayer, reflection, and fellowship, we'll journey together to understand what it means to be beloved sons of God. We'll explore the riches of our spiritual inheritance—not earned through our efforts, but freely given by a Father who runs to embrace us. We'll examine how both sons in the parable struggled to grasp their true identity and the fullness of what their father offered them, and we'll ask ourselves: What keeps us from living fully in our sonship?

During this retreat, you will:

Understand your God-given inheritance – Discover the spiritual riches, authority, and belonging that are yours as a son of the Father, moving beyond a servant mentality to embrace your full identity in Christ
Explore your identity as sons of the Father – Break free from false identities built on performance, achievement, or shame, and rest in the unconditional love of the Father who delights in you
Discover your gifts from the Holy Spirit – Learn to recognize and embrace the unique charisms and spiritual gifts the Spirit has given you for building up the Kingdom and serving others

This Lent, come away from the distractions and demands of daily life. Return to the Father's house, where a feast is prepared, and step more fully into the life you were created to live.

Our program will be presented by Jim Tortorici, Director of the New Jersey Campus of Encounter School of Ministry, and Vice President of Encounter Ministries of New Jersey.
